How to Stop Automatic Chrome Updates in Windows

Chrome 업데이트는 눈에 거슬리지는 않지만 자동 실행을 원하지 않는다고 결정한 경우 실제로 브라우저를 끌 수있는 설정이 없습니다. 다행히 Windows 사용자는 몇 가지 간단한 단계 만 거치면 자동 업데이트를 비활성화 할 수 있습니다.

Chrome updates are pretty unobtrusive, but if you’ve decided you don’t want to them to run automatically, there’s actually no setting in the browser to turn them off. Fortunately, Windows users can disable automatic updates in just a few easy steps.

 

 

 

방법 1 : 시스템 구성

Method 1: System Configuration

 

- 실행 프롬프트를 엽니 다. Windows 바로 가기 키 + R을 사용 하거나  Cortana를 사용하여 실행 을 검색 하여이 작업을 수행 할 수 있습니다 .
  Open the Run prompt. You can do this by using the keyboard shortcut Windows key + R or searching for Run using Cortana.

 

- 열리면  msconfig를 입력 하고 Enter 키를 누릅니다.
  Once it opens, type msconfig and hit Enter.

 

- 시스템 구성 창에서 서비스  탭으로 이동  하십시오.

  In the System Configuration window, go to the Services tab.

- Google 업데이트 서비스 (gupdate) 와 Google 업데이트 서비스 (gupdatem) 의 두 가지 항목을 찾고 싶을 것입니다.

  이를 찾으려면 모든 Microsoft 서비스 숨기기를 선택하는 것이 더 쉽습니다.

  You’ll want to look for the two following items: Google Update Service (gupdate) and Google Update Service (gupdatem).

  To find them, it may be easier to check Hide all Microsoft services.

- 두 개의 Google 항목을 모두 선택 취소하고 확인을 클릭하십시오.

  Uncheck both Google items and click OK.

- 이러한 변경 사항을 적용하려면 컴퓨터를 다시 시작하라는 메시지가 나타납니다.

  You will be prompted to restart your computer for these changes to take effect.

 

 

방법 2 : Windows 서비스 관리자

  Open the Windows Run utility. You can do this by using the keyboard shortcut Windows key + R or searching for Run using Cortana.

 

- Windows 실행 유틸리티를 엽니 다. Windows 바로 가기 키 + R을 사용 하거나  Cortana를 사용하여 실행 을 검색 하여이 작업을

  수행 할 수 있습니다 .  

  Once it opens, type services.msc and hit enter. (You can also open this window by opening Windows Control Panel >

  System and Security > Administrative Tools > Services.)

- 열리면  services.msc  를 입력하고 Enter 키를 누릅니다. ( Windows 제어판> 시스템 및 보안> 관리 도구> 서비스를 열어이 창을

  열 수도 있습니다  .)
  아래로 스크롤 구글 업데이트 서비스 (gupdate)  와  구글 업데이트 서비스 (gupdatem) . 각 항목을 더블 클릭하고에 일반 아래 탭의 

  시작 유형 을 선택  장애인 드롭 다운 메뉴에서 클릭 OK .

  Scroll down to Google Update Service (gupdate) and Google Update Service (gupdatem). Double-click each item and in the General tab

  under Startup Type, select Disabled from the dropdown menu and click OK.

Google은 업데이트 사용 중지에 대해 경고하고, 경우에 따라 업데이트를 많이 필요 로하는 경우 가져옵니다 . 앞서 언급 한 업데이트를 통해 중요한 보안 수정 사항을 놓칠 수 있으므로 자동 업데이트를 사용하지 않기로 결정하기 전에 꼭 기억해야합니다.

Google warns against disabling updates, and in some cases they bring with them some much-needed changes. By foregoing updates you may be missing out on critical security fixes, so definitely bear that in mind before you decide to disable auto-updates.
