With the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update came the rebranding of the shop to the Microsoft Store. But it also includes annoying auto-playing videos, usually on game and app pages. Just like on social media and mobile sites, these videos are a pain.

If you don’t realize that your volume is on, you could end up blasting by mistake. Plus, you probably don’t want to immediately pause a video every time you check out a new game. And playing videos will consume data — a concern if you’re on a limited data plan.

Thankfully, the latest version of the Store lets you disable video autoplay:

 

 

 - Microsoft Store 앱을 엽니다.

   Open the Microsoft Store app.

 - 점 3 개 메뉴 버튼을 선택하고 설정을 선택하십시오.

   Select the three-dot Menu button and choose Settings.

 - 비디오 자동 재생 아래의 슬라이더 를 끕니다.

   Toggle the slider under Video Autoplay to Off.

If you don’t see this option (and the app is still called Windows Store for you), then you don’t have the latest version yet. You’ll have to wait until the update comes to you, but it doesn’t hurt to check Windows Update for the latest updates. If you’re impatient, you can upgrade to the Fall Creators Update if you dare.
