[해외] HBO, 중앙 유럽에서 over-the-top 스트리밍 서비스 시작.

 

HBO는 중유 럽의 일부에서 over-the-top 구독 스트리밍 서비스를 시작한다고 오늘 모회사 인 Time Warner가 발표했습니다. 이 움직임은 헝가리, 루마니아, 체코, 슬로바키아의 시청자들이 HBO 프로그램의 원래 시리즈, 다큐멘터리, 영화 등을 HBO 유럽의 로컬 콘텐츠와 함께 스트리밍 할 수있게 해줍니다. 이 서비스는 사용자가 유료 TV 가입을 요구하지 않습니다. HBO NOW가 미국에서 어떻게 운영되는지와 유사합니다.

HBO is launching an over-the-top subscription streaming service in parts of Central Europe, parent company Time Warner announced today. The move will allow viewers in Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia to stream HBO programming – including its original series, documentaries, movies and more – alongside HBO Europe’s local content. The service will not require users to have a pay TV subscription, similar to how HBO NOW operates here in the U.S.

 

HBO NOW와 새로운 중앙 유럽 제품의 차이점은 콘텐츠 혼합 및 가격 책정에 있습니다. 새로운 서비스에는 게임 오브 스론 (Thrones) ,  웨스트 월드 (Westworld)  ,  실리콘 밸리 (Silicon Valley )와 같은 최신 쇼 와 섹스 앤 더 시티 (  The Sopranos  and  The Wire) 같은 클래식 시리즈  가 포함 된 HBO의 가장 인기있는 시리즈가 포함될 것  입니다. 그러나 이것은 HBO Europe의 프로그래밍 라인업에 의해 증대 될 것이라고 할리우드 리포터는보고했다.

The differences between HBO NOW and the new Central European offering is in the content mix and pricing. The new service will include HBO’s most popular series, including current shows like Game of Thrones, Westworld and Silicon Valley, plus top classic series like Sex and the City, The Sopranos and The Wire. But this will be augmented by HBO Europe’s programming lineup, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Top movies arriving at launch include Beauty and the Beast, Trainspotting 2, Jackie and Assassin’s Creed, among others.

 

또 다른 차별화 요소는 새로운 HBO Go-branded 서비스가 The Handmaid 's Tale ,  Babylon Berlin ,  10 억 ,  Twin Peaks  및 Luther 와 같은 다른 서비스의 제 3 자 콘텐츠를 제공한다는 것  입니다.   

Another differentiator is that the new HBO Go-branded service will also offer third-party content from other services, like The Handmaid’s Tale, Babylon Berlin, Billions, Twin Peaks and Luther.

 

서비스에 대한 가격 것은이 한달에 € 4.99의 루마니아를 제외하고 한달에 € 6.99이며, 지적 다양성 .

Pricing for the service is €6.99 per month, except in Romania, where it’s €4.99 per month, notes Variety.

 

HBO Go와 HBO NOW처럼이 새로운 서비스는 여러 기기에서 작동하도록 설계되었습니다. 2 개의 동시 스트림과 계정 당 최대 5 개의 연결된 장치를 지원합니다. 이 서비스는 휴대폰, 태블릿, 삼성 스마트 TV 및 Sony PlayStation에서 실행됩니다.

Like HBO Go and HBO NOW, the new service is also designed to work across devices. It supports 2 concurrent streams and up to 5 connected devices per account. The service runs on mobile phones, tablets, Samsung smart TVs, and Sony PlayStation.

“HBO Go via affiliates is already a huge success in Central Europe, but our goal is to make it even easier for the many series lovers in these countries to access HBO’s premium content,” said Herve Payan, CEO of HBO Europe, in a statement. “The launch of HBO Go direct to consumers in Central Europe is a natural step for us after successful launches of HBO streaming services in Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.”
